One-on-One Peer Support
For Patients and Caregivers
Mentorship and Hope From People Who Have Been There
Talking with someone who’s been there can make a cancer diagnosis, going through treatment, supporting a loved one, or adjusting to post-treatment survivorship just a bit easier. With a shared mission to inspire hope and improve the quality of life for people impacted by cancer, Cancer Hope Network and Colon Cancer Coalition have joined forces to walk your cancer path with you.
Every person with cancer has a unique experience, so finding someone who understands your individual challenges can be difficult. Cancer patients and caregivers can connect with trained peer mentors who care because they’ve been there and have undergone a similar cancer journey. These mentors empower patients and their loved ones by providing empathetic, compassionate support. They inspire hope and resilience and offer encouragement and motivation.
You can request to be connected with a mentor based on diagnosis, treatment protocol, clinical trials participation, individual lifestyle choices, and other personal circumstances. This support is available to you at any point along the continuum of care—from pre-diagnosis, through treatment, and into post-treatment survivorship.

About Colon Cancer Coalition
The Colon Cancer Coalition creates local solutions for local impact. We are a grassroots coalition of passionate staff, volunteers, and advocates working together to educate the public about their risk factors and reduce barriers to screening for the nation’s #2 cancer killer: colorectal cancer. We focus our efforts in communities across North America, ensuring our locally tailored efforts have a tangible and lasting impact on colorectal cancer screening, education, patient support, and research. We strive to create a future where everyone has the knowledge and resources to advocate for their health, making colorectal cancer not only treatable but preventable.
