Talk with someone who's been there.

Founded by an oncology nurse searching for ways to provide support for her patients, Cancer Hope Network has been serving cancer patients and their loved ones since 1981. We are proud to be a resource for oncology nurses, social workers, navigators and professionals.

Our volunteers are trained to lend a listening ear – sharing their own experiences, providing hope and inspiring courage for patients and caregivers. They represent more than 80 cancer types and speak 15 languages. While most matches begin with a similar diagnosis or treatment, they also include other lifestyle circumstances and considerations that are important to the patient.

All matches are free and confidential.

Our Programs Team works closely with Stanford’s healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible service for each client we serve.
