Atlantic Health System (AHS) is proud to collaborate with the Cancer Hope Network to offer Peer Support to our cancer patients and their caregivers!

AHS has partnered with Cancer Hope Network to train cancer survivors (many who have been treated within Atlantic Health System) and their caregivers to provide support – virtually, or in person – to the AHS cancer community. Our goal is to provide ongoing support to cancer patients and the people who love them.

The Peer Support Volunteer serves as a resource to help patients with a similar diagnosis by providing emotional support, a listening ear and forum to share their own experiences thereby providing hope and
inspiring courage for patients and caregivers.

The AHS team, comprised of Social Workers, Nurse Navigators and other support team members, along with Cancer Hope Network and the Peer Volunteers, are here to assist and support the cancer patient and family along their journey. The AHS Support Team also provides additional resources, as needed, for the patient and caregiver.

The Cancer Hope Network Programs Team is available M-F, 9am-5pm Eastern Time.
