Our staff.

Hope is not an accident. At Cancer Hope Network, it’s made possible by our dedicated staff. They care and they love, they listen and they advise. Most of all, they work with hundreds of volunteers, donors and clients to create hope despite cancer’s trauma. Learn more about our leadership by visiting our Board of Trustees page. Beth Blakey, Executive Director & COO (Interim)

Beth graduated with high honors from Rutgers University/Livingston College with a degree in English and a minor in Communications. She also holds her integrative nutrition health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She began her career in the PR industry, and although her job in PR was exciting, she soon realized there was something missing from her work life. She found that missing piece when she discovered the world of nonprofits.

Beth quickly found that her writing skills were ideally suited for a career in fundraising and put those skills to work for a variety of nonprofits including Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the Rutgers University Foundation, and the Mayo Theatre. She also ran her own nonprofit and corporate communications consulting business for 13 years before finding her place at Cancer Hope Network.
